With a passion of creating spaces for artists to experience a professional stage to showcase their own work, MERAKI DANCE COMPANY offers artists across the midwest the opportunity to submit an application to be considered for IDEAS. Illinois Dance Emerging Artist Showcase aims to support choreographers in their own artistic endeavors by inviting selected pieces to showcase their work on our stage. Choreographers will be age 21 or older and will submit pieces virtually through an application process. If selected, choreographers will choose their own cast to take the main stage for Summer 2027 in Schaumburg, IL.
